The 24.5 acre regeneration scheme, currently in its second phase, is set to deliver a brand new neighbourhood of 2,215 homes and 900,00sq ft of commercial and mixed use developments including hotel, office, retail and leisure.

BSFG were appointed by BCEGI Construction after extensive discussions to supply a number street furniture elements to the scheme with a consideration of the waterside environment and surrounding architecture.

Box litter bins featuring unique laser cut patterns and durable powder coated finish are distributed across the canalside landscape. Giada, a robust and hard wearing granite and timber bench was selected to line the edges of the canalise path. Two versions of the stylish Inside cycle stand were also supplied, some with a hollow section and others with bespoke stainless steel laser cut panels that feature the Middlewood Locks Logo. In addition heavy duty telescopic bollards have been installed to provide access control with the option to lower, allowing access for maintenance vehicles.

Middlewood locks received an award in 2019 for Insider North West's Large Apartment Development of the Year.
